Psalm 25a

Psalm 25:1-10

May my faith, Lord God, in you be,

I put my trust in you.

Don't give my foes the victory,

Save me from shame, stay true.

No-one who puts his hope in you
Will ever come to shame,
But those who, causeless, prove untrue,
They will disgrace their name.

Show to me your paths, Lord, teach me,
Guide me, teach me your way,
For God my Saviour you will be,
My hope's in you all day.

Recall, Lord, your great grace and faith
For they're from ancient days.
Do not recall my sins of youth
And my rebellious ways.

In your great love, remember me,
You are good, Lord, always.
The Lord will good and upright be
So sinners learn his ways.

The humble he guides in right ways,
The Lord shows them his way.
He's faithful, loving, kind always,
To those who him obey.
