I'll praise the Lord my great Jehovah
Praise your name till life seems over

For Jesus came to earth from heaven,

'Great Zion stands never to fall.'

Our Lord God will roll up his sleeve,
All nations will see salvation.
His children will no longer grieve,
Our God will return to Zion.

Keep running as fast as you can,
The seed of the word must be sown

In places where Christ is unknown.

I cried to the Lord

O Lord, hear my voice as I weep.

If the Lord kept a record of sin

Through Christ there is forgiveness,

A Kempis

There is a well known children's chorus based on the words of Thomas a Kempis in his Imitation of Christ “Without the way , there is no going; without the truth, there is no knowing; without the life, there is no living.” The whole quote from A Kempis goes

"Follow thou me. I am the way and the truth and the life. Without the way there is no going; without the truth there is no knowing; without the life there is no living. I am the way which thou must follow; the truth which thou must believe; the life for which thou must hope. I am the inviolable way; the infallible truth; the never-ending life. I am the straightest way; the sovereign truth; life true, life blessed, life uncreated. If thou remain in my way thou shalt know the truth, and the truth shall make thee free, and thou shalt lay hold on eternal life."
